+3The owner is a lovely men. Together with his team he created a restaurant where you will fell like home. We really enjoyed the visit and we hope to come back when we are back in Rome. They have great home-made Limoncello! Greetings from the 3 Polish amigos! Wish you all the best!

10/10Initially, when we arrived for our booking at 8.30pm, it was chaotic with people queueing up for tables and the staff seemed stressed and consequently quite unfriendly while cleaning and turning tables tables ready for the next round customers. We were quite abruptly asked to wait along with other bookings in the doorway with no space to stand and we were finally given our table almost 10 mins after our booking time. But, oh my, we quickly discovered that the excellent food and service made it well worth the wait and it was plainly obvious why they were so busy. Delicious! If we have the fortune of returning to Rome on holiday in the future, we will definitely go back to Il Colibri and we also recommend it to anyone looking for a great, family-run, traditional Italian trattoria!

10/10The restaurant offers quite extensive choice of meals and all the food we ordered was delicious. The choice of wine served in glasses is very limited, but the menu includes some wines in small bottles. Overall, this was a very enjoyable and tasty evening.
