10/10What a charming little place tucked in a most inconspicuous alley. Visiting Coco Lezzone is like visiting the home of an Italian relative. Rustic and the most delicious food, community seating and the most pleasant host. We loved our experience.

10/10The establishment was bright, comfortable and welcoming. The staff was super friendly. Our waiter was wonderful and gave us great recommendations. The food was like my nonna was un the kitchen cooking.

10/10Very warm service. The restaurant was filled with local people enjoying their favorite place and many of them gave us advice on food. Our server/ maybe owner/longtime employee calmly waited on all tables in the room. Overall, a very warm feeling with simple delicious food. Love the ambience!

10/10Our group of 8 was sent here by our cab driver, and he said it was THE place to eat in Florence. European reviews were great! We knew we had found the place for us! The steaks, OMG, and this from one who never eats meat!

9.5/10I love this restaurant and wanted my daughter to experience it. I still love it. One thing to keep on mind is that they only offer seasonal items. Everything listed on the menu is not necessarily available. So, the night we went they didn’t have any good options for my daughter who doesn’t eat meat. Even the pasta choices-the sauces all had meat. There were a few choices she could have gone with but there was nothing she really “liked”. So, if you are with a non meat eater, maybe try something else. Otherwise, it’s amazing and I’d definitely go back-just without her.

8/10Small place in a back street, had to search for it, very unpretentious, all sit together on large tables. There is a menu, but not everything is available every day. Advisable to book, as it’s a popular place. We had ribollita, and good pasta ragu to start, then roasted baby pig, and large meatballs with roasted potatoes as a second course, creme caramel with berry sauce, and some good red wine! Quick efficient service, good selection of wine. Leo di Caprio ate here recently, and his photo is on the wall, along with other celebrities! A good hearty lunch, with no frills!

10/10Everybody from the owner and staff were super nice. We entered the kitchen and have been shown how the Costata is cooked, on a wood fire furnace. Unbelievable. Highly recommend!

3/10Worst meal we had in Florence. Absolutely terrible. How could they screw up a simple pasta? And after that they actually requested a service charge!

9/10This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb host. We wanted a Fiorentina steak. The restaurant has a real local feel with long shared tables. Our waiter at first seemed a bit rough but he was very nice to us in the end and appreciated my attempt to converse in Italian. We had the Fiorentina, grilled veges and then cheese platter. We also then took vin santo and biscuits. Highly recommend, you will not get a fine dining experience but you will get good honest food made from the best local ingredients.

5/10This place is a real mixed bag. It's very traditional in décor, service and cooking. Our mains were delicious (Roast pork and Farfalle with Peas) but the side dishes were not seasoned, lukewarm and served well before the mains. I had riboletta for a starter and it was barely warm. It was okay but nothing to rave over. For dessert we had one panna cotta with caramel and a tiramisu. The panna cotta was excellent but the tiramisu was quite sad. We found the whole experience underwhelming and eye-wateringly overpriced for what it was. We were also put off by the server pushing us to leave a tip. Not recommended at all.

9/10Very good, cozy atmosphere. Lots of locals dining there. Food was very good, the ossobuco meat slightly harder than expected but still very very tasty.

9.5/10best ribollita ever, and a very tender arista (pork roast). They still use the cucina economica from a century ago, fueled with wood. The meats absorb some of the wood and smoke flavor, which gives them a wonderful finish.

8/10We found that it was a family run, home cooking trattoria. Known by the locals and not that many tourists. Made a pleasant change, we enjoyed it!

10/10We had a great dinner! The pasta fagiola was delicious! My husband had veal and I had a very tender pork dish! It was fabulous! Quiet environment was nice! The wait staff were very personable. We plan to return!
