Everything was good as far as service, as usual. We go often to try new menus. Ambiance and concept very good. But unfortunately this time we felt the menu was very short. Usually we go for the longer menu that is about 11 or 12 experiences. This time I believe it was just 5 or six. I asked and they said it was thier soft opening. Maybe should have said that when we made the booking. What we were served was very good, but I left the restaurant hungry - had to go somewhere else afterwards to eat a bit more...

The opening act of eating foods from Portugal by moving around the map was an excellent start to the meal. The service was phenomenal. And the wine pairings were fantastic.

Interesting and surprising culinary experience. More than just food, it's edible art that plays on all senses. Service was perfect, waiters were friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back!

Incredible experience starting with the Lab itself, where we started our journey through Portugal. Two experienced chefs prepared the different amuse-bouche by region and crafted explained by Mathilda. Then at the table every detail was attained. Every dish is a painting and an explosion of flavours. The staff worked in unison and gave us a perfect night. The Lab deserves a second star!

This has been one of the best experiences ever. Flawless, amazing, friendly service , unbelievable Team and food to die for . Worth every penny. Can’t wait to be back

Everything outstanding! Service, food, experience! We couldn't fault it and it made for the perfect 40th birthday celebration. Stand out staff and surroundings. I hope they continue to get the accolades they deserve!

+8Immediately upon entering the restaurant we were greeted warmly and had one surprise after another! First we were handed a glass of sparkling wine, then invited to “pick” a welcome bonbon from an olive tree, and then we were taken upstairs where there is a table with a map of Portugal and we had unique Chef’s tapas from different regions of Portugal. This is all before even being seated for the dinner!

The food, service and experience were fantastic. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a worldly culinary experience.

We go back everytime they change the menu. It is the best 1 star Michelin in the Lisbon area. Surprisingly it does not have 2* because in my opinion it is better than the only 2* we have in the Lisbon area. It is an experience to remember and it does not matter what they charge you, it is worth every bite. You can't go wrong here - all is amazingly put together, and I don't mean the food only. Congrats to LAB.

It is by far the best Michelin-starred restaurant in Portugal. It offers exceptional and creative cuisine and service in a setting within Penha Longa and the Sintra National Park. No other restaurant can compare on this international level—it is ripe for the second Michelin Star (highly deserved). Best Mila & Nils

This was an amazing experience. We live in NY and have been to many outstanding places locally and around the world and LAB is on par with the best of them. Then food and presentation were terrific. The menu was creative and the experience well thought out but unintrusive. The place deserves at least 2 Michelin stars.

Such a fabulous and memorable dining experience. Creative cuisine, artfully presented by the most impeccably trained restaurant staff.

The "first moment" upstairs was wonderful. Every single appetizer was delicious and the pacing was excellent. The tasting menu downstairs was pretty good, but paled in comparison. Way too many sweet dishes, and way too much sweetness in dishes that were not desserts.

The dinner at the LAB is not a dinner!! It's a marvellous experience, sensational service and great atmosphere!
