This is my second time in four years visiting this restaurant since I live in Canada. The service is impeccable. The food is fabulous and carefully made. My best meal in Paris.

I made a reservation, but they refused entry for groups of 4 or more. They should not take reservations. This is the worst place.

A true Parisien experience, wonderful classic ambience next to the Opera, early diners are there for the show, then the restaurant emptied out quite a bit. Table d'hôte menu covered all the bases and the kitchen did an extremely good job. Highly recommended for good food and very reasonable prices. You have to enter michelin territory and much more expensive menus to improve on this!

Having gone to a well known restaurant that served steak frites, accepted no reservations and where there were long lines; this place was a wonderful contrast. They took reservations, the food was well done in traditional French style, it was reasonably priced in a classic bistro ambience. Very satisfying.

Wonderful setting off the busy street with friendly service and excellent food. I've been here many times and it's consistently excellent.

Food, service and ambience were all good and overall I certainly would recommend this restaurant. The only disappointing aspect was being presented with the bill (as were other diners) without asking for it; this did come across as verging on being rude and presumptuous, as we were'nt even asked if we wished a coffee etc after dinner.

Although the food was very good and the dining experience was a positive one, the restaurant had no record of our booking with the Fork. Luckily, they had a table available which they were able to offer us. I strongly suggest you look into the matter to save future diners the same embarrassment and I would be very interested to receive an explanation.
