Lovely little surprise in the streets of Ardis, fresh fish grilled lightly, typical Portuguese specialties and knowledgeable staff plus great wine - all at a reasonable cost, made our last minute reservation perfect. Plus we were able to walk back to Muchaxo hotel in Guincho! Under the moonlight

We discovered Marea via The Fork app and we were not disappointed. They know how to do seafood well and we enjoyed a delicious grilled Imperador fish for 2 people. We also ordered a Santola to enjoy as an appetizer while the fish was being prepared. They had a decent wine selection and we chose a nice white from Setúbal to pair with the fish. The only thing that could use improvement was the sautéed spinach as it was too salty and hard to chew, but everything else was perfect. Parking is a bit challenging in that area, but we eventually found parking not too far from the neighborhood. We do plan to go back.

Went for lunch on Sunday. Lots of families and, unexpectedly, no foreigners who obviously have not caught on with how good this place is. We shared an açorda and had a vegetable side dish and delicious potatoes. A yummy dessert 🍨 and home we went!!

A very nicely decorated restaurant in a hamlet. service is good, friendly staff. Food is rather ordinary. as many here, typically olives and bread. fish: we ordered squid, it was rubbery i found and the usually same green beans and boiled potatoes with no garnish. dessert was a nice layered chocolate mousse. Wine list was okay. quality-price, average, on the higher side.
