Delicious food, very friendly service. Best Cacio e Pepe ever. I can’t wait to return in the Summer to sit outside and enjoy the fantastic view.

Such a fun restaurant. Excellent food and exceptional service. Make sure you get the bruschetta. The two pastas we tried were wonderful. Not to be missed. Sit outside and look over the Tuscan hills.

The restaurant is located just overseeing some beautiful views of the city surroundings. The service is good, and the food was nice too, especially our first courses, which were picci caccio e pepe con tartufo nero and Pappardelle al ragù di cinghiale. We didn’t really enjoy the second course: Cinghiale in umido con olive nere since it was a bit too dry. On the overall, it was nice, but maybe we expected a bit more from it.

The portions were the smallest I have ever seen in Italie. Then I Some Some Italian people order te same dish and they got more then double. We also had to run off because of Wasps. (Ofcourse that was not the restaurants fault). The view was Nice, but other people were enjoing it too, so from the restaurant you Could mostly see the other people instead of the view 🤪
Osteria FornelliQuesta è una grande bugia. Le porzioni sono pesate e sono uguali per tutti, italiani e stranieri. La vista è uguale per tutti, ci sono solo due file di tavoli. O forse volevate la terrazza tutta per voi? Non credo si possa fare nemmeno nel vostro paese. Avete sbagliato anche il commento sulle vespe. Quelle le telecomandiamo noi verso i tavoli che ci stanno antipatici…

The food was good, the ambience was also nice, it would have been perfect if we could have sat outside. Unfortunately, the staff were not friendly, they made us wait until someone finally wanted to know what we wanted to eat and drink. If we'd had to wait any longer, we would have got up and left. In the end, they take the money too...

Food was great and so was the service. Inside the AC not working and it was very hot.

Very disappointing experience. Fornelli had not registrated my booking at The restaurant so they gave us a table inside by The bar. The staff did not seem to notice us. Ordered just bruschetta, which was soggy and tasteless. We left to find another place to eat.

Welcoming and helpful staff who spoke English. Clean toilets. Pleasant surroundings and beautifully decorated. Food mostly excellent. Disappointed with suckling pig.

There was a hair in one of the dishes. But that would have been ignored if there was not the unpleasant surprise of finding an extra 10 Eur charge for a small basket with bread which we never ordered and was served as something one would consider a compliment, yet it remained untouched, because we didn’t want it (we ordered pasta after all). That little trick was really annoying, we were two adults and two kids, not even a big company or something.
Osteria FornelliIt' not a trick. It is the way in Italy we pay the service. So "Pane e Coperto" is another way to say service. It costs just 2.50 €. And the service must be paid even if you don't eat the bread. This is common in Italy, and I'm sure yuo'll find the same in any other restaurat. And I'm sure you gonna pay for the service in any other country in the world, even yours. For the hair, this is not common and we are sorry about, but if asked we would change the dish, if only the customer would tell us about. So if you don't know just ask. Bye

Fabulous each and every time. It’s our 3rd visit to the area in 5 years and we make it a point to dine here. Food, wines, service, and view are spectacular.

Bright, clean, and attractive restaurant. Server was friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious! Booked another reservation before we left the restaurant.

The cheese platter was delicious and the house made pepper marmalade was the best we have ever had. We both had pasta and it was cooked perfectly and very tasty. The view was spectacular and we definitely recommend reserving a table outdoors. We will definitely return.

Fantastic food and nice wine list. Nice view from the restaurant of the countryside. The restaurant is busy and reservations are strongly recommended!
