An amazing location with wonderful views . A great menu but felt it wasn’t an authentic Italian experience as the waiters were not really speaking Italian though their English was great. The service was good bar from one junior waiter who was a bit condescending and a bit rude !! The others were impeccable . They also served someone else’s main course to us. When my partner asked for the menu & asked what the dish was, only to discover that they had served us the wrong dish. No real apology was made. Fortunately we had not touched or eaten it . The scallop entree was delicious and beautifully presented with yuzu, foam,green apple, celery & fennel. The spaghetti with aglione was very disappointing as it seemed like ordinary and expensive pasta . The main course of suckling pork -roasted ribs, Porchetta style saddle, leg and confit was excellent and succulent. My partner’s Scottono Maremmana was good but not exceptional. Not as great an experience as we would like to have.

The overall experience was underwhelming. 45 minutes after ordering we received the appetizer, another 40 until we received the primi and another 45 for secondi which was way too long gaps for such small dishes that two people shared. Flavours were not particularly exciting or balanced 6/10 for worst course and 6.6/10 for best one. One would expect to not receive a dry overcooked duck at this price range for example. Their own wine was quite nice red & white, less nice was how the waiter spilled red wine on my new white linen trousers. Visited at 29-jun-2024

We had booked a table for lunch but, due to unforeseen circumstances, needed to cancel our reservation. Unfortunately, we were informed that cancellations were not permitted, that a €150 penalty would apply, which necessitated our visit. Upon arrival, we discovered that the restaurant does not operate during lunch hours, and we were instead seated at al fresco dining area. The quality of the food was far from satisfactory and did not justify the high prices. The entire visit left us quite disheartened, particularly as we had called in advance to confirm our reservation and were not informed that the main restaurant only operates in the evening. We hope that you can address these issues to improve the experience for future guests.

Poor attention to the client. Nobody explained the main plates. For a restaurant of this price I expected another level of service. Food was ok. Not mesmerizing, but good.

Villa Pignano served us the best meal we’ve had in Tuscany - and thats compared to 4 other michelin star restaurants. Thank you to the Borgo Pignano staff for an amazing time.

We came here with our two year old as we waited for our Tesla to charge. The staff was extremely accommodating. The food was delicious. I would not hesitate to come back again.
