9.5/10Fantastico! How else to rate this charming seafood restaurant in the heart of Rome’s bustling city center. Tucked away on a more quiet street, you will find yourself descending into a wonderful dining experience. The food is excellent - and the ambiance is timeless, with a magnificent crew of highly professional waiters hovering around the table like deft magicians faithfully waiting to deliver your next delectable dish. We had both seafood and traditional Italian fare and found it very satisfying. A fine night out, if not a bit of a throwback to a classier time when dinner was taken quite seriously! Bravo. Bravo Rinaldi Al Quirinale!

8.5/10Very good wine selection, waiters were amazing and friendly and helpful. Starter was amazing potato egg and truffle, but steak was very average.

6.5/10Not worthy of a Michelin star. I say this based on 2 observations. Michelin is both service and quality. While our server was mostly attentive (and more so once we ordered extremely expensive dishes), they didn’t take our coats (we hung them on the back of our chairs) nor fill our empty water glasses etc. Sounds picky? Sure if it wasn’t Michelin star rated. As for food quality, the appetizers were absolutely delicious. I had carpaccio trio, my family had the calamari, the cuttlefish and the octopus. My daughter says the calamari is “one of the best I ever had” and she orders it at every restaurant that has it on the menu. Here is our biggest caveat: ordering by weight. One spiny lobster with pasta dish will run you more than 250 Euros — it’s a very large portion, no doubt, but we couldn’t help but feel we were being taken advantage. Especially when you order 3 of those dishes for 3 people and end up taking 500Euros worth of lobster home. A Michelin star might have made some suggestions… one of our party ordered the 90 Euro beef that was NOT worth that for quality nor quantity. However, our server did give us lots of “treats” seemingly to assuage the sticker shock of “il conto”. The food was delicious but not worth the price.

8.5/10Food was good, but overpriced. Paid 200 euros for one lobster, one fish was 85 euros. It wasn't the best lobster or fish we've ever had. Service was amazing. Pasta also amazing (and far cheaper).

8.5/10The restaurant is a throwback in time with the waitstaff in white jackets and vests. The food was excellent with a wonderful risotto and beautifully prepared fresh fish. The service through the dinner was excellent but then just disappeared to the point they forgot to bring our coffee. Not something you would expect at this Michelin guide mentioned restaurant.

10/10We take the tartar tuna and shrimp. Very good texture and taste. The lobster was also fine, not cheap but value for money. Dessert is not to be missed. Worth coming.

7/10Food very good, but: We ordered a 2019 wine, given 2021 and not admitted by staff. Did not get the Parmesan cheese with the bread, or shortcake biscuits at end, even though every other table did. Waiter topped up my wine, but neglected my wife. Should have some background music as can hear every conversation from surrounding tables.

5.5/10Very welcoming on arrival. Decor is perhaps a little dated but in keeping with style of restaurant. Good range & choice on the menu, plating was not as attractive as I would have hoped for. Food was good but not great & this is quite expensive when compared to other restaurants in Michelin guide, and even compared to those with Stars

10/10Service was very gracious and of course professional. Food was of course excellent. Ambience was quite more formal than typical, and we enjoyed that. I’d recommend this restaurant to anyone who is willing to dress even a tiny bit formally

10/10I'm never going to recover from the dinner I shared with my fiancee here because it will never be replicated. In a word - amazing. Starting with the service first - insanely attentive, knowledgeable, friendly, conversational, and helpful with recommendations without overselling you (although I left so painfully full - but I will get to the food soon). Our primary waiter was just an amazing dude and I hope he reads this review. My only regret was not catching his name, but he was younger than the others with dark hair and a beard. I wish him and his wife well!! Now to the food - I am rarely this serious and don't often write reviews, so take heed: They start you with four kinds of fresh bread and a an entire wheel of cheese (but don't over do it like I did... I was famished and the cheese was insanely good). Thereafter we ordered a moderately priced bottle of red (Turriga 2019 - absolutely delicious), the scampi shrimp with table side shaved black truffles, and the shaved artichoke and parm salad. I could have died there happy. Order that and thank me later. After that we split a two pound lobster (he brought two live ones to the table for us to choose from, which if you're an animal person may be off putting, but consider it a mercy kill from their waiting room tank lives... haha). It was beautifully served with fresh made tagliolini with a light but perfect tomato sauce, and at that point I hit food nirvana. For dessert we had homemade blueberry grappa, (she had sambucca), espresso, and they brought over a giant block (literally 25 pounds) of incredible dark chocolate with some tools for you to just chip away at it. It was so good. The meal will go down in history for me as one of the greatest. Thank you to the staff and kitchen for such an amazing experience.

10/10From arrival to departure, everything was amazing. The welcome, the attentiveness of service, explaining specials/ features ... showing the live lobsters to fresh catch options, really extraordinary. The service is impeccable and they have an incredible wine list ... with options not for the faint of heart but absolutely noteworthy. Enjoy ,,, this could be your every week restaurant or for special occasions. Hospitality is for certain a focus here - my family won't soon forget this experience.

10/10This is an upscale, traditional, and Michelin starred Italian seafood restaurant. The fish is fresh and brought for inspection prior to cooking, the preparations are simple yet meticulously executed, and the wine list is extensive. The service is first rate, as one would expect from a restaurant such a restaurant, and it's expensive (for Ital), again as one should expect. Excellent experience!
