We came after reading positive reviews on Google and the Fork. Our reservation was at 6.30 pm and we were the only people there for majority of the dinner. We ordered the steak and ragu pappardelle. The pasta was average and a part of the steak (€30) tasted off. Fortunately we had the 50% off food deal from the Fork but with the cover charge and drinks, it was still not cheap. Our experience was not great and to add insult to injury, the restaurateur told the Fork that ‘fewer guests attended than originally booked’. I was with my daughter and ordered 2 dishes, a side dish and 2 drinks. We were also charged for 2 cover charges, so I’m not sure what more the restaurateur was expecting. We would have ordered dessert but after the lacklustre meal, we just wanted to get out. We went to Mercato Centrale after that, which was much buzzier and had a lovely tiramisu there.

Il nostro ristorante è molto curato e per questo non possiamo fare beneficenza. Arrivederla

An opportunity to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious and service friendly and attentive.

+1We had a fantastic dining experience at Ristorante Buca San Lorenzo. The famous Florentine steak was perfectly cooked.. tender, juicy, and full of flavour.. truly a highlight of our time in Florence. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was attentive and friendly. A wonderful place to enjoy authentic Tuscan cuisine.

The lasagna came a little cold, and the ribs a little undercooked for my taste. Pleasant atmosphere. Impeccable service.

The owner's greeting of "안녕하세요." in Korean was truly heartwarming. The thoughtfulness between ordering and the meal's arrival was palpable, highlighting the owner's kindness and dedication. He greeted us in Korean with "cheers" and "thank you." Most importantly, everything on the menu was delicious. We had a 1.4 kilo T-bone steak, carbonara, risotto, and salad. The portions were generous. It was so delicious that I drank 10 bottles of beer. We had a wonderful dinner. Thank you. And the limoncello at the end was absolutely delicious.

The owner Bartolommei made us feel so welcome and the food was delicious! The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the decor was amazing! I’m so happy that we found this gem of a restaurant! Looking forward to going back soon!

Staff was extremely polite and attentive. They were very patient with us, English-speaking tourists and made us feel welcome. The lady server even taught us the Tuscan way to put EVOO and other condiments on our bread, which was very kind of her. We ordered three dishes and they were all finger-liking good. The food and wine were delicious and the ambience and service the best.

On first impression looks a bit shabby, chairs etc need replacing … but the service and food were excellent

This restaurant was recommended to me by the hotel I stayed at. It's a cosy, family-owned restaurant that has recently opened. The service was kind and friendly and the food and wine of a good standard. I went there twice for dinner and would recommend it to others.

its such a gem! food was great and ambience is awesome, its bit stuffy but I belief in winter it will be much better. Awesome wine list and recommendation from the hostess.

Very last meal at Firenze during our trip around Italy. Closed to our hotel. Lovely place, waiter quite friendly and speaks a little bit french ! Waited a little bit for our plates to come and the place wasn't full at all, but we asked to be served all at once. Overall we had a nice dinner. Pleasant discovering of the ribollita and papardelle al cinghiale were lovely

My sister and I last minute made a reservation to come here for dinner - it was unassuming on the outside, but we were led down into a charming basement that was traditionally decorated. Our dinner was delightful!

The gnocchi 4 cheeses is simple and amazing. We tried also the bistecca and is very good, it’s a good option for 2 people who eat a lot or 3 “normal” people 😄 the restaurant was almost empty but don’t take wrong conclusions, it’s very good and the staff are very friendly

We all enjoyed the food and wine of the place. The dishes were delicious and the atmosphere was warm and lively. It was a memorable evening, full of great flavors and good company.
