We had an unforgettable dining experience at Shin in Rotterdam. It truly felt like we were transported to Japan. The food was exquisite, showcasing authentic flavors and meticulous presentation. The service was impeccable, with every staff member attentive and friendly. Our server, though not of Japanese origin, was incredibly knowledgeable and made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcome throughout our meal

The food was great - the miso butter salmon, the tuna carpaccio, the grilled wagyu beef, the grilled wakame, as well as the different chicken were delicious. The cocktails were very good too. The service staff were very nice, knowledgeable and attentive. The atmosphere is “industrial”. While I like industrial style, it was a bit too much of for a cold, dark autumn night… I can certainly recommend this place to everyone who loves authentic Japanese cuisine and wants to eat something else than sushi.
