When we got there it was quiet. The lights were bluish bright and we weren’t sure quite where we had ended up. By the time we left, happy, well-fed, and feeling very well looked after, the place was full of a varied crowd many of whom I assumed were local: people at the counter having a drink while waiting for their takeaway pizza, families on a casual night out, and earnest tourists who had made their way to the far end of the Guidecca, past the more obvious waterfront charms. We had a great evening. The only thing I’d change about our it was those high colour temperature lights!
