9.5/10This is a place you need to come back to twice just to experience all the dishes it has to offer. Spectacular food and drink with a fun atmosphere and a very friendly staff. Highly recommend!!

I’m very satisfied with my experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious and clearly made with high-quality ingredients. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. The service was great, and the atmosphere was welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back highly recommend!

9.5/10A truly wonderful meal. Booked based on the positive reviews and we weren’t at all disappointed. The food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Had the chicken teriyaki and mixed skewers, both dishes were delicious. The tiramisu, made at the table was a real memorable experience. Would recommend it all

8/10Good tasty food , nice ambience and efficient service. Just disturbed by staff too “colloquial” : saying “ciao” when I entered and addressed me and my wife with “tu” : this is offensive in Italy and made me feel uneasy. I have answered “Buonasera” and addressed with “lei”. Still, when I left, a staff member addressed me with “ciao”. “Ciao” and “tu” is always wrong outside intimate relations and it is openly offensive in public places. It could be standard in a low standard place such a Mac Donald. Unacceptable in a refine and expensive restaurant. I recommend the director to address the issue: it is simple (the staff were attentive and pro active and therefore I am sure they are willing to learn) and the result will be impactful. For the rest, I recommend the place: as I wrote, the food was good, the wine excellent and the service fast and attentive.

Ammalia has a unique menu that you can’t find at any old restaurant. I came here while on vacation and was happy to see a different twist on familiar dishes as well as unique ones. Everything was prepared very well. I do t understand why it wasn’t more crowded - maybe because it was a Tuesday at 9:30pm.

The restaurant is very pretty but the music is an odd mix of pop which don’t go together. The food was mixed. I had a pasta dish with egg yolks, artichoke, truffle and hazelnuts which was delicious. My partner had the sea bass with mash and vegetables. The mash potato was so salty it wasn’t edible. We told the server and the kitchen made it again but the potato was just as salty which was very disappointing. The crème brûlée was good but the ‘tiramisu’ was not tiramisu at all. It was dry chocolate cake bites with a custard cream on top - no coffee. They should definitely have a classic tiramisu and then call the other dessert chocolate cake. The cocktail we had was very good and had an interesting flavour profile. So as I said, very mixed experience!

We were drawn in by the ambience, but we stayed for the food. The owner is extremely kind and welcoming as well.
