4.5/10Very rude service and if you didn’t ordered the full course dinner they stopped treated you at all. When we didn’t ordered wine they just left and didn’t ask if we wanted any other drinks. The food was over cooked and the carbonara was closer to a scrambled egg. The tiramisu had the consistency of mashed potatoes

First, the service was top notch. The female server (I forget her name) was helpful even if unsure about her English (which was great!) was very professional and gave us lots of advice. Wine was great. Food was better. Truffle was freshly shaved. And the pannetone was a good call on dessert. I wish I gave her my email so she could write me the recipe!! If we lived there we would be back often. Well worth the money for a nice dinner.

2/10Do not book online. They use paper notebook for reservations, so they did not have our TheFork reservation. They seem to be unable to deal with tech, but arrogantly blame TheFork and clients (e.g. us). Do not expect truffles, even if you see it. We agreed to wait 45min at the bar even though 3-4 tables were empty all the time till closing. Got a table finally after 15min. At the bar we were sitting in front of white and black truffles, but once got the table, it turned out they do not have white truffle as it is "sold out" (it was the only reason we drove across the city). The place is called pretty much house of truffles, it was the season, and truffles were on their table. Once we ordered other food (it was OK, nothing exceptional), suddenly one truffle dish became available and we could get it. Terrible experience, extreme arrogance and rudeness of the director. Other waiters were nice. There were more people angry as well, they left the place after getting the water.

+1Pricing for the truffle tasting menu is not transparent - 10 euro for the fried eggs/pasta does not include any truffle even though the menu states that "extra" truffle (emphasis on extra, which implies that a base amount of truffle is given) is at market price. We were not informed of this when we ordered, nor were we asked how much truffle or whether we wanted white or black truffle. The main dishes we had - the Milanese risotto and fish dish - were poorly done. The risotto was too salty and lacked any other flavour, while the fish was not fresh with, again, no flavour. For the price we paid, the meal was disappointing and we certainly do not recommend visitors to Milan to try this place.

4/10Even though we made our reservation quite some time ago, and the restaurant was empty, we were given the worst seat in the restaurant. It was very dark and we could hardly see our food. The table lamp battery was also running out, so we could barely see. The service was very lackluster. The food was just OK, but we had heard great things about it and it just did not meet those standards.

Very cute restaurant and amazing service.We shared the octopus as starter, which tasted so good and both pasta’s with additional truffle was amazing. They showcase and add the truffles which contributed to the good experience we had. Definitely worth coming here.

7/10I would like to give an honest opinion. We were very excited to try this restaurant. I got the carbanara pasta, the truffle flavor was there but it was very salty and I want to like it but it was ok overall. My husband got the lobster ravioli, the lobster was minced and mix with something not sure what it was. Again, the truffle flavor was there but the taste was ok. The tiramisu was good. In summary, the food was ok. We expected better based on the reviews. I thought we were supposed to get 20% discount but only got 10%.

He took the time to explain a lot about truffle, how it grows, what variety you have, how to match it with food and wine. A really excellent experience, even if it was finally quite expensive. This restaurant was a good find in Milan. I would recommend the Polenta, IL Taglolino, and gelato for dessert. The waiters and staff were great and brought our food out quickly.
