Great starters. We ordered too much and no room left for main courses.

Beautiful restaurant and incredibly attentive service. Fish and seafood was extremely fresh and prepare beautifully. The langustine carpaccio was truly memorable. A must visit in Madrid.

Our experience at Estimar was a delicious one. We were guided to an excellent bottle of local (Madrid) red wine (last bottle of this 2016 Carignan in stock) and a some of the best grilled fish (Scorpion fish, a truly exceptional and rare delight) we have ever tasted. The service was attentive and professional, always with an enthusiastic smile. All in all this was a culinary highlight of our visit to Spain.

We had a lovely table for two with a great view of the kitchen.

+1The food is ok, but quality not matching to the price tag it has. There are better options around.

Excellent oysters, really nice wild shrimp & a nice turbot, albeit not Scophthalmus maximus, but a similar flatfish, more pointed in shape. Nice wine & good ambience. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

Fantastic simple cooking, finest ingredients but comes at a cost!

The restaurant is nice. The atmosphere is little bit too cold. The staff is watching you with a strainge face, but the sommelier changed the service in a positive way with a great suggestion. AMAZING quality of food, nothing to add. Great wine list. The best cheesecake od my life. Thank you,

What a delightful experience. We sat near the open kitchen to watch the chefs and were surrounded by lively Madrilenas having a great time which was super fun. The food was innovative and delicious. Particularly noteworthy was the whole scorpion fish and the delicately fried boquerones- an elegant take on a classic Andalucian staple. Charming location on a cobbled street. Must Go! ????????????????

Food was OK, nothing special apart from being way, way overpriced. Service was mostly non-existent, what little there was included major bad attitude with a "why are you here?" tone from the servers. Ambiance was horrible, tables squished together and a noise level that was unbearable. Not even a thank you from staff upon departure, after paying over 300 Euros for a rotten experience. Never again.

A great discovery of sea food - from scorpion fish to barnacles! Everything was amazingly fresh and the service was excellent! They not only explain you the different sea food but also how to eat it as it's not always obvious???? The surprise at the end was the absolutely delicious mille-feuilles with vanilla ice-cream!
