What an unexpected fantastic experience. The service was excellent, the meal was so so good and the outdoor seating was perfect for us with little ones. We went there for my birthday dinner after a 15 hour travel day because it was really close to our hotel. We had no idea what an absolute gem this place was. Will definitely be back again before we leave.

Our trip to Filet et Fils was our last night in Zermatt.The staff made us feel welcome even though we had come straight off the mountain. The food was out of this world and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area. Bring your wallet.

Excellent food, with attention for detail. The homemade fries were great, as well as the homemade lemon oil. Service was excellent as well, smooth, quick and unobtrusive.

I had probably the best Osso Bucco I’ve ever had- perfectly cooked and masterfully seasoned. It was a great walk to and from the restaurant from the center of town and next time we will arrive early to take advantage of their super cool and cozy bar.

Sometimes it is difficult to handle a part of 9. From front of house, service, kitchen, there will always be issues. Tonight, everything was perfect. Everything. The kitchen put out many different dishes, and all were top top quality. Our server, Emilia, was impeccable. We were well taken care of the entire evening. As a group and as individuals. Wow, I could not recommend more this restaurant. Is it away from the center? Yes. But why are you in Zermatt? Seriously, it is the perfect walk (back and forth), and you will be provided with the perfect experience. Big thanks to all who were involved. We will all be back soon!!!

I don't want to sound pretentious, but we were not impressed here. The service was suboptimal - the waiter was always in a rush. Only one of us could order drinks, as the waiter just left. Even for the water we had to ask again. Wine refommendation was completely off: asked for a dry white, got a semi-sweet. Food is good, but not excellent as some of the tastes don't blend. We expected a bit more given the ratings and the price. The fact that they ran out of items in the menu is secondary to my rating.

I arrived at this restaurant with my family after researching a lot online. This seemed like a hidden gem, with hyper-local food and some well composed dishes that speak to a Michelin-style experience with a steakhouse style menu. Sadly, the food was mostly good but was lacking here or there while other dishes were winners, such as the hay soup and the veal cheeks, but the service was particularly laughable. Some of this was probably due to being lost in translation, but not all of it. The server was absent a lot, served red wine before white, forgot place settings and asked who got what, forgot some menu items, and ultimately seemed overwhelmed. I had to pour wine for the table a few times as they were absent. We didn’t get a bottle we ordered, and they had no idea how to pair wine really. So, it was a mixed experience. We left without dessert fearing other mishaps and we got the impression the server did not like us and couldn’t handle that size of a table, despite us being quite quiet and subdued.

Very good meat, food! Modern restaurant , nice people, I did not know it is in a hotel and guest of the hotel come surprising very casual to the dinner table! But We enjoyed and had very good food!
