2/10Location not nice and away from the center We booked a table for 2 at Veranda but they told us that if we did not have a 5 course menu we could not stay there and they moved us in a restaurant in the front but the carte menu of this other restaurant was very different from the Veranda’s, which was the reason why we actually booked there in first place. I ordered a soup and a avocado club sandwich (the choice in the menu was inappropriate for me and I could only chose this one) but they forgot to bring me the soup. The sandwich was cold snd the salad without sny dressing. My husband had a chicken and found it 6,5/10. Price of the sandwich chf 28.-! It is the first time that I book a restaurant and I end up eating in another one. If it was earlier in the evening we would have got back to Zermatt center and find something there. Inacceptable! Go somewhere else

4.5/10The main course T-bone steak was tough, undercooked and underseasoned. The salad bar was quite average and unsuitable for price fix five course Christmas dinner. When we arrived the host initially sat us in a service area right next to the salad bar and dessert station. Ours was the only table in this section. The host seemed upset that we would ask to be moved, but he reluctantly obliged our request. The starter (sardines, meats and cheese) was fine but big enough to be a meal in itself. Our waiter forgot to bring appetizer plates so we ate this first course using our bread plates. The second course, cauliflower soup with chestnuts, was the best dish of the meal. The desserts were also good, but this and the soup weren't enough to save the experience. The staff seemed harried and overwhelmed throughout the meal. I would not come here again.

10/10Was an amazing dinner. The service, food and presentation was exceptional. We had the 5 course tasting menu and it did not disappoint. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly.

10/10Love the ambience with the Christmas tree, very neat table. Food was great, service was awesome. My kids enjoyed their food as well. The wine was perfect.

10/10We had an amazing evening at the Veranda Zermatt. The staff was very welcoming and professional, absolutely amazing service and atmosphere, good food, and good wine. A very nice place to spend an evening!
