Location not nice and away from the center We booked a table for 2 at Veranda but they told us that if we did not have a 5 course menu we could not stay there and they moved us in a restaurant in the front but the carte menu of this other restaurant was very different from the Veranda’s, which was the reason why we actually booked there in first place. I ordered a soup and a avocado club sandwich (the choice in the menu was inappropriate for me and I could only chose this one) but they forgot to bring me the soup. The sandwich was cold snd the salad without sny dressing. My husband had a chicken and found it 6,5/10. Price of the sandwich chf 28.-! It is the first time that I book a restaurant and I end up eating in another one. If it was earlier in the evening we would have got back to Zermatt center and find something there. Inacceptable! Go somewhere else

Love the ambience with the Christmas tree, very neat table. Food was great, service was awesome. My kids enjoyed their food as well. The wine was perfect.

We had an amazing evening at the Veranda Zermatt. The staff was very welcoming and professional, absolutely amazing service and atmosphere, good food, and good wine. A very nice place to spend an evening!

Great swiss menu with local dried meat and melted cheese, with the nice addition of a lamb course. High but fair price for Zermatt
