5/10The meat, which is the main event at this restaurant, was significantly undercooked and had to be sent back. By the time it returned the sides and the plates were cold but we decided just to go with them rather than waste more time. The restaurant was not even half full but no one seemed bothered to keep an eye on our table and we had to ask for our wine glasses to be refilled twice (it would have been better just to leave the bottle on the table). On paying the manageress seemed very surprised to hear we had had issues, suggesting the team don’t talk to each other. She did comp us some drinks. This was supposed to be a celebration meal for a significant birthday and it was a real disappointment. Would not recommend.

5/10We picked the restaurant for its “knockout view of lake Geneva” as featured in Michelin Guide website, however, the lake was blocked by tree canopies, when asked service staff about it, she told us view can only be great during certain seasons. Maybe this quality needs to qualify that view is possible during which season. We came a long way on this overseas trip to have this experience. Service staff needs to be more attentive to customers’ needs. We were shown to our table, didn’t see the view that we expected; six service staff were lined up at entrance and outside kitchen but no one came to give us the menu until we raised hand to ask for it. We thought this was a practice in Geneva but we’ve been to other restaurants and it doesn’t seem so. In other restaurants recommended by Michelin Guide or not, the service staff were always attentive. Food was good, especially sole fish and beef. We find it a novelty when service staff deboned the grilled sole fish in front of us.

10/10It was the birthday of my daughter, the staff are very kind and prepared a special dessert for her. Memorable location and the Tomahawk is the best of the best.

10/10We had a nice experience, leaving close by, we’ve been for the first time to the grill restaurant. We had tasty meat and best pure sweet potatoes. Impeccable staff, warm and professional.

10/10The restaurant is spetacular. Delicious food, amazing view, particularly kind team. Marlene, Fauozie and Max were very kind and made our dinner even better. The Tunísian Chef made a specisl Chateabriand, something I have never ate before. Fully recommend.

9/10The menu was on the pricier end but not too expensive; for a fine dining experience, the prices were reasonable. The service was fantastic, and the ambiance was perfect for a romantic dinner. The food was delicious, but the sweet potato side dish had a bit too much orange flavoring for my liking. I would definitely eat here again!

5.5/10To be honest, we were disappointed with the Christmas Eve experience. It was not worth the almost 500CHF price tag for two people. The first course of foies gras was completely overpowered by chocolate. The next two courses of langostine and scallop were extremely bland, flavorless and cold. The mains were fine, I suppose, if compared to the appetizers, but also lacking flavor and not hot. We sat over 35 minutes waiting for the dessert which was also quite bland. The servers were all very friendly although you could tell, were spread extremely thin. They needed a few more people working with the amount of tables being served. It took forever for us to ask for our check to leave. We also stood in the front for a very long time until we went into the closet to get our own coats to leave. The servers are why this rating is as high as it is. The food was the main disappointment. We’ve had much better meals in Geneva and would not return to Le Grill.

9/10It was a pleasant moment having my birthday dinner at ‘The Grill’. The way plates were carried on the table was really enjoyable, the starter and the dessert was on top for me. The service crew was carrying and lovely. Thank you for the service.

5.5/10The service was extremely slow. We sat down at 19:15 and our order was taken at around 20:00. We ordered wine and had to pour ourselves. Took us a large effort to even order a second bottle. Lack of staff for very high prices. And the tuna salad with that strawberry foam on top is absolutely awful. No taste, like any fish dish without salt. This place used to be much better before
