We had an amazing lunch. We ordered the Nabacco salad to split - the best salad we had so far in Milan. We also ordered the catch of the day- can’t remember the name of the fish but it was similar to sole and served with delicious homemade pasta. The sauce was so fresh with capers, olives and tomatoes- the bread was warm and delicious- a great find and lovely location to sit outside and people watch.

From the outside, the restaurant looks nice, but unfortunately the experience did not live up to the appearance or the many positive reviews. We ordered traditional Milanese dishes (ossobuco, cotoletta alla Milanese, riso al salto) and were disappointed. The service was poor from the start: we were brought the wrong wine, told it was “better” than what we ordered, and charged €15 more without any willingness to accommodate us. The food was underwhelming. The spaghetti carbonara lacked flavor, the ossobuco and riso al salto were only acceptable, and the cotoletta alla Milanese was completely unseasoned and very tough. Overall, a disappointing experience in terms of both service and food. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this restaurant.
