We were really pleased for the warm welcome. We went for the long menu, which is superb. One comment though… too much emphasis on the sea in the mains, three kinds of crustacea, plus crab, plus stingray fillet… all superbly chosen and cooked. I would have expected in a menu inspired in Madrid in a very cold Autumn evening some heartwarming delicate stock or soup, some season mushrooms, some game meat. Something talking about El Pardo Royal Reserve or the forests in Rascafría. The decor and the lighting are designed for daylight, they need to think of how to add warmth to the night shift in such a grand space. Maybe cosier individualized lighting and more texture and clever oriental screens. But overall, a worthy experience.
