Food was merely adequate. Service was poor as it was a Monday and only one chef and one waiter were on duty. Although the waiter certainly tried his best, this was a management choice which reduces quality. The ambiance was lacking.

Restaurant des Sers is nicely appointed in a hotel near the Champs Elysee. We had the 50% of the food deal and without that the prices would have been very expensive. Both my husband and I had scallops as our main course and got 4 tiny scallops - more a starter size. The wine list was expensive . The waiter who took our order and met us on arrival was very polished but the girl who served us the rest of the time seemed still in training as she didn't have the expertise of her colleague . The wine was corked.

The patio area is quite pleasant. The wait staff was attentive but not overly so. Our 2.5 hour lunch was delicious.

As a restaurant inside the five star hotel, this one is lacking lots of necessary details of service. My knife was not clean, the water I ordered was not brought to me till the end, the coffee cup was not clean... Before the brunch was over and before every customer leaves, spoons on the serving table were already gone. Coffee/Hot chocolate was not good. Otherwise, their food was quite good though.
