Server wasn’t happy with his tip and started muttering insults at me (tips are not required in France as servers make a good wage not like in the USA). This server seemed entitled and tossed my receipt at me.

This cafe was good for breakfast and offered good food and service. I would have eaten here again. The coffee and pastries were delicious. My husband had eggs and he enjoyed them.

My wife and I wanted authentic Paris Brasserie food on the afternoon of her birthday and Le Buci turned out to be perfect, as recommended by instagram @parisattractive and @parisfoodguide. Lovely beer, coffees and awesome French onion Soup, Escargots and Tiramisu, with friendly service and a busy Saturday afternoon atmosphere

When we arrived, it was still early, the booking doesn't seem to be noticed. We ordered foie gras, steak, bourguignon, and a burger. The foie gras terrine, is just a cold slice with a separate onion jam with bread Steak was tough, needed extra strength to saw through it, even the table shakes. Bourguignon was good, well flavoured, has the small pearl onions. The burger just the usual

A family of 5 with 3 children. Excellent place, typicañ café in Paris. The service was really good and so the meal. For children, the croque messieur was perfect. For parents a delicious steak tartar and cheese salad. We will repeat!

Have to say I’m confused by the high ratings. €15 for a croque madam? Ham/cheese/bread/bechamel? ZERO flavor! Did they forget the cheese? The bread was certainly stale, The ends not covered in creme sauce were hard as a rock, €6 for a cappuccino? €5.50 for a very sub par quality double espresso. €47 for 2 sandwiches. 2 house rose, and 2 cofffee drinks….ridiculous, maybe had the sandwich been spectacular or the coffee fantastic…safe yourself your the money! .
