10/10Beautiful little find through Fork. The food was amazing and there was a young lady working in there who was brilliant. Lovely smile and great interactions with her. I thought she must be family she was working that hard. I wish I had taken photos as the food was brilliant! Burrata and tomatoes, soup of the day, steak and potatoes and grilled veg followed by the best ever tiramisu.

Our visit was “first time booking on TheFork”, just to try, just to explore. But finally, it was something great to remember. And to invite you. Because we were very satisfied after. It is true: the place is cosy and ambiance music (a gold playlist) a pleasure to sustain the tasting food (Italian menu choices), the red wine just for a couple to complete the joy. Finally but so so precious was the great conversation and wonderful serving of Carolina, an always smiling girl who knows how to sustain you in that tasting travel. 10/10 all around and a golden star for Carolina. Make La Galleria a place to enjoy in your travel in Florence.

6/10This isn’t a classic Italian restaurant, but rather a place that serves Italian‑style dishes with a different culinary approach. Good to know if you’re looking for strictly traditional Italian vibes. Service was engaged !

Dear Lukasz, Thank you for visiting us and sharing your enlightening opinion! Perhaps you expected to find my grandma at the entrance preparing tortellini, or maybe you don't know that the Caesar salad (the one you ordered) was invented by Cesare Cardini, an Italian restaurant pioneer. However, it is very disappointing to read "rather a place that serves Italian-style dishes with a different culinary approach" from a Polish guest, especially when we regularly receive enthusiastic compliments for the authenticity of our dishes from Italian guests who know and appreciate genuine regional Italian cuisine. We take great pride in preserving and offering traditional recipes that reflect the true flavours of Italy, and your comment surprised us given the many positive feedbacks we receive from those familiar with real Italian cooking. For your information, our restaurant has been open since 1967, and for over 55 years we have been committed to serving authentic Italian cuisine with passion and respect for tradition
