10/10We were greeted warmly on arrival at the restaurant. The waiter took us through the menu and the special dishes outwith the main menu. He was knowledgeable, friendly and obviously very good at his trade. The service throughout the meal was exemplary and all dishes which the 4 of us ordered were beautifully cooked. The wine was also first class. The restaurant itself had a family orientated neighbourhood feel and I can imagine that people living locally will go back there again and again. I wish I could transport this restaurant to where i live in Fife as the 4 of us really enjoyed the experience. I can only wish Di Mario good luck for the future and the next time I am in Rome I will certainly go back.

I loved everything from the moment we walked in - beautiful entrance, great atmosphere, outstanding food, and excellent service. Everything was truly top-level. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely be back!

10/10The best food I have eaten in many years!! Outstanding dishes were Fettuccine with black truffle and Chateaubriand- the best steak I have ever tasted!! The cheesecake to finish was amazing, with a nutty base and caramel sauce on top. Devine meal, so good we went twice in a theee night stay….12 out of 10 xx

10/10Very warm welcome. Table was ready with no wait, nice table by the window. Server was very friendly, made several suggestions. Food was prepared wonderfully, portions were generous and prices were reasonable. Everything was excellent.

10/10The best restaurant experience my wife and I have had in a long time. The food is outstanding, but the quality of the service and obvious dedication of the owner and staff set this restaurant apart from others which simply have great food. If I could give Da Mario six stars, I would!!

Absolutely phenomenal. The food at Da Mario was nothing short of spectacular — every bite was bursting with flavor. I had the white truffle fettuccini, which was honestly one of the best dishes I’ve ever had! I am not exaggerating, and it might be sacrilegious to say, but it exceeded my Sistine Chapel experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making dinner feel personal and memorable. It had a wonderful local vibe — authentic, relaxed, and not touristy. If you want an amazing and delicious dining experience that’s both intimate and unforgettable, Da Mario is a must!

9.5/10This restaurant is run by wonderful people who make fantastic food. An absolutely must go. Make reservations as the place is small - this would be the only area of concern as it was a little tight inside. Starting with the staff, we were warmly greeted and offered assistance with the wine list. We ordered two glasses of wine - Riesling - which was a by the bottle price. The waiter let us know he would see if he could do by glass. We heard the owner tell him to just open a new bottle and give us two glasses. Amazing service. We had the duck ragu and carbonara, both of which were amazing. The pasta was so filling, we had no more room for dessert, however we were offered limoncello on the house. Our only disappointment was that we couldn’t eat more things on the menu. Everything looks so amazing. If we have the opportunity, we would definitely be back. The people make this place, you are well taken care of here. Highly recommend this restaurant.

8.5/10Worth the trip and off the beaten path. Quaint restaurant food was mostly good. Pasta dishes really good, one steak was very tasty but was not a a good cut. Owner was very accommodating friendly and server was very attentive
