10/10Although the “steak Florentine” is a bit of a tourist attraction, the staff at Beccafico made it into a very enjoyable experience. They seemed to understand that different cultures have different understanding of medium vs medium rare and asked just the right questions to ensure our meal was exactly how we like it. The waiter recommended a perfect wine to complement our meal.

5/10Our booking wasn’t found, we ended up being seated in a back room, which to be fair was a plus in the end as the noise level of the tourists in the main restaurant space was pretty awful. Full of tourists, not a place I would choose again for an authentic Italian meal. Overall disappointing and underwhelming.

10/10Fantastic place! We were celebrating our 25th Wedding anniversary and I mentioned when booking we were celebrating and they gave us a lovely table and gave us a glass of Prosecco as soon as we arrived. The chap that served us was funny but attentive. The food was delicious with some great menu choices and we were not rushed at all. Really happy and would definitely recommend this little restaurant, that we initially stumbled past the day before by chance and thought it looked lovely.

10/10This location was recommended to us as a “hidden gem”. The family ordered appetizers (Bruschetta and a plate of cheeses) and a selection of pasta dishes. All were very well prepared and tasty. I let the staff know it was my wife’s birthday and they surprised us by playing “happy birthday” over the restaurant’s speakers and bringing her a slice of cake with a candle. Nice touch!
