6.5/10Staff is very kind and the guys are very funny. Regarding food, we found medium quality dishes. The price of the menu is too high compared to the quality and the quantity. If you are looking for a different experience this is the right place otherwise there are some other places where you can find real french food.

6/10The quality of the food was poor. The buffet used to be much more inviting. It looks un appetizing. The quality of the cold cuts was miserable and the selection very limited. Pepperoni? Really? For the main dish I had a lamb steak. It smelled, was chewy and had a very strong lamb after taste. Poor treatment of the meat. Same for the chicken - it had no taste whatsoever. Bland. The wine - which is free and flowing is of a very low quality and tasted a lot like vinegar. I will NOT recommend this place anymore. The live music is a lot of fun.

10/10I like very much the Nos Ancêtres Les Gaulois. I always bring friends and family members to this place in Île de Saint Louis, so nice and more than a restaurant it's an experience. A must go!

8/10The salad bar was fine. My riveted was rare and wonderful. Another of our party had the ribeye medium and it was quite chewy. The duck and wild boar were both very good. I liked the variety of cheeses and the chocolate mousse was good. The glass of overflowing wine caused conversational difficulties. Overall a good dinner and fun for all!

9/10the only thing that was not as good as it could be was that some of the salad basket vegetables were not fresh. otherwise it was a great experience, a lot of fun. staff was great.

7/10The party, the ambience, the musician and the audience saved the dinner, because the service is just correct, and the food is mediocre. Also its not a real buffet: all the cold meat and salad you can eat, but not the main courses. You will not want to repeat a main course, though.
