A wonderful dinner experience. It seems to be getting harder to find restaurants that amaze you, but this is one. Fantastic food, great setting and atmosphere (in a really nice neighborhood with decent parking options), and fun, friendly service. The wines were also excellent!

Had a great evening taking and entertaining customers at this delightful restaurant. They accommodate my large group at short notice and the food was great! There's also a nice ambiance to the place. Would definitely come back when I'm next in Amsterdam!

The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and very inviting. Marco and the staff were highly professional and so friendly. There was no rushing or pressure and the timing of when the food arrived was perfect. All the staff really took care of us and were hugely flexible and accommodating to everything we asked. Now the best part was the food, it was excellent and authentic Italian flavours and style. I can know because I go to Italy a lot. Totally worth it, an Italian gem in Amsterdam. I can only say good things about this restaurant, I would absolutely go back whenever I am Amsterdam. Can highly recommend it!!!!

We go to this restaurant when we want to impress our guests visiting us from other countries. We always order spaghetti prepared in the parmesan wheel live next to our table! And the must try dessert is the deconstructed tiramisu. Great food, great service, we'll come back

Lovely restaurant with authentic Italian vibe and food! The staff are amazing and always very welcoming. They had gluten free pasta which makes a gluten intolerant very happy :) we’ll be back!

Really good food and wine, the staff is passionate, and the atmosphère is lovely. Spécial mention of course to the flambée pasta in the massive cheese, which is a show on it's own :)

The restaurant is usually fully booked, so it was great to get a last minute reservation and try it out. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. I’ll be back again. Thank you Marco and Erika for your warm hospitality. :)

A great authentic Italian restaurant with a very welcoming host, Marco. We all tried their chefs-choice menu which we didn't regret! Lovely food and great wine - I can highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Amsterdam. The service is warm and attentive. The atmosphere is gezellig and a touch fancy. There are tablecloths and cloth napkins, but good sized portions and no pretentions. The food is high quality and there is a lot of choice for a smallish restaurant. Reserve ahead because tables are hard to get!

Great time again at Pepenero! Everyone loved the food, the wine and the service. The place was full and that created a lovely atmosphere with people enjoying the delicious food. It remains my fav Italian in town.
