Excellent bisteca fiorentina! The lazania were also great. Gniocci were very average…ambience was very good and so was the service!

The steaks I’ve had until now weren’t even real steaks. The medium-rare was cooked perfectly and was so easy to enjoy. And the one with truffle was delicious too.

The restaurant interior was lovely including the table settings. However, the food was overpriced! Our soup was inedible because it was so salty and the steak we ordered was not cooked how we requested it. The beans we ordered as a side dish were bland and watery. Sadly nothing we had was that nice

Great selection of appetizers and wines. But the most important meal here is steak from local meat. It was really great.

It became a tourist trap. None of the waiters is Italian or speaks Italian. Some people don't even speak proper English. Food was overpriced, 150€ for a kilo of Rubia Galega in Italy is too much. Choice is much less now. Pity, I was there many times before and it was excellent.

Kitchen was great; food terrific. Waiter had no clue what he was doing or had too many tables or both. We ordered wine, entrees and appetizers at the same time; waiter disappeared for 20-25 min before returning with wine and glasses; waiter never checked in on appetizers or entrees. After another waiter cleared our entree plates and asked if we would like dessert menus, we waited 15 minutes for those. Dessert itself arrive in two shifts 20 minutes apart.

“While the restaurant is clearly geared toward tourists, we expected a higher level of customer service. Unfortunately, our reservation wasn’t found initially, and service remained slow and inattentive throughout the meal. It took around 20 minutes to place our order, and there was no follow-up once food was served. The food itself was decent, but the Florentine steak didn’t compare to others we’ve had.”

Is very good! The beef is perfect!

Would Not Recommend I suspect these issues might have occurred because this isn't the main branch, but that is no excuse for such poor management and service. A great meal is about more than just the food; it’s about the hospitality and the overall experience. Because of the blatant lack of care and professionalism, I cannot recommend this place to others.

Unwelcoming environment & service was ambivalent/indifferent. Food was mediocre. We were extremely disappointed.

Florentine steak is a must-have. We were a bit apprehensive since we don’t like rare steak but the waiter said we can order it as medium no problem. It came out pretty close to medium rare so we just sliced and seared for few seconds on the hot stone provided. Amazing flavour! Their tiramisu and chili pasta were also amazing!

service was disorganized and not up to standard. Staff did not know what rare meant this made for an uncomfortable series of a events for a patron nearby who was very polite and clear in what he was asking for. If you are a serving florentine steak you should know how to prepare it correctly to temperature

The steak was excellent, and the service was outstanding.

Very disappointing visit. From the luke warm greeting to the flavorless steak, the visit left us wanting much more. It was our most expensive meal in Florence and our worst meal in Florence.. .

Despite booking weeks in advance for 8:30 PM, we waited 30 minutes outside. When we asked for an update, the manager was rude, stating they couldn't control table times—which defeats the purpose of a reservation. Once seated, the staff seemed reluctant to advise on the menu or portions. A second bottle of wine was forgotten, despite an overwhelming number of staff for such a small area. As for the food, while good, it didn't justify the "hype." It was a pleasant meal but far from memorable. At €89 per couple (mains, wine, and dessert), the poor service and management's attitude make it overpriced. It feels like a place overwhelmed by tourism, prioritizing turnover over hospitality. We won’t return.

The food is delicious. The Fiorentine steak is one of the best dished I ever tried. There is also options for those who doesn't eat meat. My wife is vegan, so she asked a Fettuccine with mushrooms. She loved it. The waitresses are very gentle and kind. I strongly recommend this restaurant.
