5/10We walked along the exclusive villa-lined street out of the city center to enjoy this open-air restaurant. We were disappointed. While the garden is beautiful, the food was mediocre and the server not very attentive. Not worth the trip on foot out of the center.

10/10We loved our experience. The ambiance was excellent with the beautiful gardens. The service was superb! The wine list was very extensive with nice options at various price points. And most importantly, the food was incredible! Very delicious and well presented. The chef must take great care in his preparation of inspirational dishes. Highly recommend.

About this restaurant
Dall'orto al piatto è la filosofia dello Chalet Fontana. Il ristorante, immerso in un angolo verde sulla collinetta lungo i viali che conducono al piazzale Michelangelo, fa del suo orto un vanto. Due le variabili che condizionano il cambio di menu: la stagionalità dei prodotti e anche le materie prime provenienti dall'orto della proprietà, protagoniste indiscusse dei piatti del giorno. La produzione piccola, ma di alta qualità, è uno dei punti fermi della proposta gastronomica dello Chalet Fontana che in futuro spingerà sempre più su concetti come la produzione biologica e a chilometro zero.
