10/10This Italian/Korean couple was extremely happy with everything. We visited on our honeymoon but it was my 3rd time there and all were exceptional. Everyone was warm and engaging and the food was incredible. Cibleo is on the very short list of places I absolutely have to visit whenever I'm in Florence. It is extremely rare to see fusion done well and so few chefs understand different types of cuisine so deeply thay they can blend just the right elements to create something unique and wonderful. Chef Kawai is a true master of his craft and everyone at Cibleo works extremely hard to make their guests' visit perfect.

8.5/10The setting is nice, although small and space can be an issue even when sitting down. Service is friendly, I suggest changing chopsticks and especially the spoon once used - it’s unpleasant to taste previous dishes. Great advice on the sake, it really worked with the food. The food itself (tasting menu) was good, a good variety of flavours and textures. I loved the first course (the tongue in particular) and the steamed fish. We struggled with the take on the ribollita, it doesn’t work. It’s gloopy and the smoked fish (aka “fish prosciutto”) taste dominates the dish. The ramen broth was a bit too thick and I don’t understand why not serving pork chashu but instead literally a slice of boiled chicken breast. Lighten the broth and put more flavour if the dish closes the savoury part of the menu. Disappointing end of the menu, also lacked transition to the desert. The desert itself was simple and good. Overall we liked it and would try again once the menu changes, but didn’t blow us away.

10/10Every bite is an explosion of flavor. Reminds me of David Chang’s Ko in NYC. Bar seating, watching the chef, talking to the chef and the charming hostess. Flurry of extras and surprises. Love Tuscan food but such a wonderful divergence in this beautiful Renaissance city.

4.5/10I booked a restaurant, which was supposed to offer italian/korean fusion food, but ended up with a restaurant serving basic (and not very tasty) japanese food... A total fraud... Very disappointing...

10/10A little confusing set up and entry, but immediately there was a warm welcome. The only option on the menu was a 10 course tasting menu, which we happily did. They were kind enough to throw in 2 additional courses, which were a treat! (Cold mackerel and veal stomach I believe). Each course came at the right time, the wine was a good match, and dear Lord, the croquettes!

10/10The gazpacho and dessert were superstars. Udon with vegetarian broth and lamprodetto (we know) and traditional Japanese udon, chicken curry were all great supporting cast. Loved it all would absolutely go again.
