Food was good, not great. Wait staff was impersonal and mechanical. The restaurant decor and location was charming. Out of all the restaurants we’ve experienced in Portugal over the last 5 nights, this was our least favorite. Definitely a disappointment.

The service was polite, but not dignified for a 5-star restaurant. 1) I had to kindly ask 3 times for ice cubes before the waiter brought them. 2) I ordered 2 first courses while my friends ordered a first c and a main c. The waiter asked me if I wanted both first cs at the same time and I said no. The cold one before the hot one, please. When the entrances were served the waiter came with both my first courses at the same time. I accepted the cold one and sent out the hot one. 3) When I explained to the waiter that his colleague had specifically asked me about which plate to serve first he answered: ‘It’s not a problem, Madam’. Did I cause any problem…? 4) When my friends were served the main course, my second first c, the one I had sent out, was forgotten. My friends were half way through their meal before my plate came. 5) After having consumed our bottle of wine my friend wanted to have another glass of wine/by the glass. His glass of wine was forgotten, but it came on the bill.

The food is getting worse and worse. Service is amicable and polite, but unfortunately that doesn't make up for very basic food. What a pity. The restaurant is lovely and the terrace wonderful. The chefs NEED to review the food they are sending out.

Tried Corleone recently. The food was okay—nothing bad, but not super impressive either. I had the meat with bone marrow, and it just didn’t wow me. What really stood out (in a not great way) was how long it took to get drinks. I ordered a couple of beers with the starter, and even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy, it still took over 10 minutes. I had asked for an outside table in my reservation, but they sat me inside. Luckily, one of the waiters was really nice and eventually helped me move outside, which I appreciated. The place has potential and might work for tourists, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return, and probably wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Having lived in italy for many years I was looking forward to this restaurant ordered Osso Buco a favourite of mine unfortunately not sure if it was veal looked like and tasted like beef shine No bone in the middle with bone marrow served separately a new one on me Meat dry rice bland The wine list very overpriced for Italian wine please include the year of the wine on the list Overall as Italian as macdonalds a waste of time and money

Corleone restaurant on May 17, 2025 Food was a “version” of Italian. Antipasto had actual pickles included. American type pickles and was served not with crusty Italian bread, but some type of thin toast. Appetizer arancini was dry and was not accompanied by marinara. When marinara was requested, the server never brought it. Osobocco was average as was the ravioli. Ambiance was wonderful.

As Friday lunch, this Sunday’s one was excellent (mocktail and Gamberini with lemon risotto, Tatin revisitee) ! Sitted in the veranda, it was windy enough not to suffer from the already hot weather.
