Setting was beautiful. Right on the beach. Went for lunch. I had the grilled Turbot and it was excellently prepared with a wonderful cauliflower puree. As an app I had beef carpaccio and was perfectly sliced and tender. Would definitely go back again

Great, attentive service, allowed us to change booking time, very flexible. We really enjoyed the food, it was very well prepared and good value for money. Lovely location overlooking the sea. We would recommend this restaurant, it was one of the best meals we have had in Portugal. Thank you very much.

The food was very good. I had the beef wellington, very tender. The truffle mashed potatoes were sublime. My husband had the steak. Also very good. The desserts were not great and the creme brûlée was watery and not set. The coffees were very watery (hence 4 stars) But I would go again. I hope they raise the level for the desserts and coffee. Service very good. Friendly and helpful.

We stopped at Emma's our first night in Cascais and ordered the Arroz de polvo Emma. The ambiance was casual and welcoming and the service was excellent. The octopus fillet, served with pepper, chorizo, and fresh herbs was outstanding. Beachside location with open windows for a beautiful ocean breeze!

I was very disappointed that bread cost was put on our bill without being asked as we didn’t want it. Also, we asked for more bread thinking it was complementary as we had not been provided with enough for the table and they brought lots to our table after asking for it and waiting a long time for it. We also were put in a very tight and cramped place at the back of the restaurant and the staff were not attentive when it came to providing drinks.

Fantastic food in a great spot right on the beach. Feels like the food is better than you’d expect which is always a great experience. We ended up going twice it was so good, highly reccomend the prawn and Scallop dish with the tomatoey sauce. Can’t remember the name of it but best thing I’ve eaten in Portugal. The poke bowl is fab too!

Half of the food was good the other half very poor. Starters and wine were great. Portion sizes for main courses were very small. Hamburgers absolutely fine but pork and cod main dishes were overcooked and didn't taste anything like described on the menu. In fairness to Emma the manager reduced the two mains in price after we complained, but had the waiter checked in on us before then maybe the situation could have been avoided.

Careless service. Staff was dancing at the bar once we arrived. We didnt know what language to use to communivate with them and we barely understood what they said when taking the order. The food was subpar and didnt meet our expectations. First and last time.

Followed a review online to choose Emma and found it was indeed very good. Excellent service and great food. We chose 4 seafood starters followed by the Golden Slice (excellent!) desert, all shared between two of us, which was ample. Highly recommended.
