As usual, the service and food were excellent. We ordered polvo and grilled turbot, which were both delicious. We had made reservations with a special request to have a table with a view of the second floor. After a bit of confusion, we were able to get moved closer to the balcony. The service was great!

Very disappointing experience. We have visited this place one year ago and were excited to come back, but this time it was pure disappointment. First of all, I booked a table couple of days before, and when showed up, we were asked if we would like to take a table outside. We agreed but as we just sat down (couple minutes later) we realized that wind is to strong to enjoy a dinner, so we asked inside. And we were told that there are no tables inside, so only after saying that we are not having dinner outside they found a table. Very unpleasant staff for dinner 50+€ per person. LOBSTER. Although price ~130€ per kg (without sides) indicates it to be decent quality it came overcooked. On top of that it was served without proper cutlery for witch we had to asked separately to be delivered. So out of ~110€ dinner for two persons, only octopus salat (10€) was good experience. Really sad how good place turned to be turiste trap.

The food is fabulous with generous servings. The seating is absolutely perfect. Been there a couple of times already. My only issue this time is that they charged us for bread, butter, olives which they always bring to the table, but you can send them back. And that’s what we did but they still charged us for it. I saw it after the fact. It’s a detail but still annoying.

The restaurant is in one of the best positions in the town. We ordered efficiency platter to share which was delicious generous and excellent quality. There was more than enough food for two people. We chose a Portuguese wine which was really good value and also delicious. If you can get a table on the terrace even better but I can heartily recommend this restaurant.

Everything was amazing. We had the seafood rodízio and it was super fresh and well prepared. The service was amazing, sr. José took excellent care of us, he was super friendly, professional and noticeably loved his work.
