had set out sights on this place because of the reviews of the Beef Wellington. Absolutely blew us away. From setting expectations in regards to cooking time to the carefully preparation and presentation. Beef was cooked to perfection and cut like silk. This is a must try. On par with the food was the exceptional service from the waiters. Definitely a meal and restaurant setting we won't forget and will Def be back when next in Florence

Fabulous ! The best meal we had during our stay in Florence. I would definitely return, especially for the potatoes cooked 3 ways. They were amazing.

We made our reservation via Fork but when we came my name was not listed . Owner was vey considered and friendly Italian . He sitter us as his family and services perfectly . The meat was cooked the way it should be , meaning perfect ! Lydia

Best dinner in Florence. The owner is so special and gave us a great experience. We came and ate two nights in a row! You can tell the owner is very passionate about his business and his staff clearly loves to work there. We had an amazing experience. We made reservations but even if you don’t and just walk in, the owner will make sure you have a seat somewhere, even if it’s waiting at his bar with a glass of Prosecco. The food was out of this world. We skipped the starters and actually had pasta as our appetizers. Do this!!! Do not skip the ravioli. It is amazing. Their speciality is their truffle filet. It’s the best steak you’ll ever eat in your life. We had a great time at Brandolino and would come back here every night. The wine was exceptional too. Do not listen to people who review this restaurant lowly. They do not know good food. This was truly a great experience with the staff and the food. Do not skip!! We will be back.

Amazing food & service! Everything we ate was delicious! The Florentine T-Bone steak was incredible, couldn’t recommend enough. Members of our group also tried the two different filet options and both were amazing. Service was top notch! Would go again in a heartbeat & will recommend to anyone visiting the city.

This restaurant was rated highly so was very surprised at the the small portion of undercooked risotto with osso bucco - the rice being undercooked and not particularly creamy and meat being just a few measly dollups. Very little food for the money and disappointing at that. Not bad - just not very good.

Absolutely fantastic! The owner met us with a great knowledge of both Tuscan food and wine, sensitive to our experience and tastes. We settled on a wonderful super Tuscan wine (Castello di Querceto 2017) to pair with their special 45-day-aged Florentine T-bone steak. We started with an excellent Caprese salad and paired the steak with roasted potatoes. Awesome meal, highly recommend Brandolino.

The best meal we had during our 12day trip across Italy - absolute perfection! Don’t be deterred by its location - I usually avoid any restaurant anywhere near a tourist attraction, but this is the complete exception - not touristy at all with a great menu and executed perfectly. My teenagers loved it as well!

Had a fabulous dinner! Appetizers were inventive, Florentine steak - great, and desserts creative. Appreciated that it was Italian cuisine with a creative twist. Ambiance was lovely and staff attentive! Would highly recommend and go back.

This is now my favorite restaurant in Florence. The food was amazing, the staff wonderful, the wine delicious and the atmosphere was very charming and very clean. A friend and I shared 3 items for lunch including the Insalata di Fragola (Strawberry Salad), Spaghetti al Limone (Lemon Spaghetti) and a Peche (Peach) appetizer. All were amazing. People near us had bistecca (Steak) which also looked and smelled wonderful. We had a very nice wine. The people who worked there could not have been nicer - they took the time to talk with us (in Italian and English). I highly recommend.
