I found Mama Eat on a GF blog and I am so grateful that I did! I had the pleasure of dining at Mama Eat in Rome earlier in my travels and learned that they take cross contamination seriously and have a separate area for preparing GF meals. At this location we ordered the potato croquettes and the long arancini with meat (can't remember what it was called on the menu) and then the Rigatoni Bolognese as my entree. WOW--I have not had GF pasta this good in ten years!!! I had enjoyed the pistachio tiramisu earlier at the Rome location but my dining companions had not so we enjoyed that again and it was just as light and delicious as the week before! Thank you Mama Eat for having so many amazing GF options for those of us who require them!! I hope to be back!!

The food was delicious and most of the menu could be made gluten free which was essential because my daughter has celiac. Both the gluten free pizza and pasta were excellent but the standout were the arancini.

Poor service, asked for dessert menu waiting 20 minutes gave up paid and left. Gluten free pizza was OK, nothing special. It was very quite and staff seemed liked they couldnt be bothered with us

We actually went twice while we were there. The first time was flawless and we had an amazing waitress named Mathilde. The second time we went, my son got breaded chicken, and there was barely any chicken in it if any at all. We returned it and our waitress at that time was not friendly about it. She acted as if we were bothering her. It’s a shame because it is a great place, but I’m not sure after the level of attitude we got from that waitress that we would go back. We were not being difficult at all.

Our hostess Anna and the other staff were lovely. The food was not good. We had far tastier gluten free pastas and desserts at Quinoa and Sgrano and even the pizza from Mister Pizza was significantly better.
