From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home here. Rosa, our host, was amazing—friendly, funny, and full of knowledge about both the food and Italian history. Talking with her was like getting a mini tour of Italy while we ate. Her partner, the sommelier, was just as great. He picked wine pairings that were spot-on for each course, and explained them in a way that made it fun and interesting without feeling too fancy. For dinner, I had the tagliatelle with beef ragù, and it was absolutely delicious—fresh pasta cooked perfectly, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The wines served alongside it made every bite even better. We also shared a meat charcuterie board and a selection of cheeses, which were both incredible. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully chosen. One thing that really stood out was how well they handled our picky-eating kids. One of our best meals ever. Service was great and such care was taken with every aspect of our meal. Wine pairings were perfect. Cannot give them too much credit. Wish we had more nights in Florence so we could dine there again.

The staff are wonderful and clearly care about food and wine. We enjoyed the food and it is as little but different than classic Italian. The food was perhaps a little rich considering the warm temperatures. Happy to recommend a visit because these are passionate people who care about their food.

My companion & myself are wine lovers & love good food perhaps even more . But we were so disappointed with our dinner last evening. Nothing was as good as it should have been. My stuffed zucchini flower starter being coated in a meanly- thin batter too tough to cut readily with a knife, unforgivable. My husband’s housemade superfine pasta looked lovely, but was no match for the robusta ingredients served with it… as a whole, it was texturally misjudged; though it tasted good. My bitterly disappointing “potato soufflé” main turned out to be a log of crusted mashed potatoes !!! - saved only by the luscious cheese ’zabaion’ , but let down by the trio of tough onion bits on top that had been marinated ( why bother ?) in the little known Italian red herby liqueur “ Alchermes” … overreached kitchen work & disaster menu translation. Wine management & table service excellent- all in a gorgeous setting..they couldn’t save the disappointment of unresolved food. Not recommended for food, sadly.

A wonderful evening in the heart of Florence! I visited Enoteca Ristorante Innocenti Wines and was absolutely delighted. Stylish interior, beautifully presented and delicious dishes, and an excellent wine selection. The attentive service and spot-on wine recommendations truly enhanced the experience. We absolutely loved the Service, Food, AND Atmosphere! Restaurant is absolutely gorgeous inside and has so much history...Roman ruins AND Frescos! Unbelievable! My husband and I are Vegan. The chef made a special meal that had our tastebuds dancing! Rosa, our server, gave great wine recommendations and completely covered the history of the restaurant. So incredibly sweet and helpful. Don't miss this dining experience!
