10/10What an amazing little place. I had googled that we wanted somewhere pretty, quiet, authentic, with excellent food that was not too expensive and this literally ticked all the boxes. It took us 35 mins to walk there from our hotel but the walk took us all through the tiny but lively back streets where there were ao many people laughing and drinking and eating....and all on a Monday night! Then after a wonderful meal, the lights went off and my husband was serenaded in italian (of course) with a special piece of pistachio cake and a birthday candle. What a perfect evening. Thank you. Next time we visit Rome, we will definitely make the walk again. It was worth it. Oh, and yes, for 3 courses and 2 beers, it was under 70 euro. Xx

6/10The restaurant is located in a lovely part of Rome, it looked inviting from the outside and nice and festive inside. The notice on the door about no card payment took us by surprise. We were reassured that there is an ATM very close, but it wasn’t something we expected as no mention about it on the website. The service and food recommendations were good, but again we were taken by surprise when on ordering grappa as our after dinner drinks we were given vinsanto instead. The lady apologised, but we felt that if it wasn’t for our knowledge of the above mentioned drinks, we would be taken advantage of.

The atmosphere was incredible. Super intimate but also felt like a family place. I had an excellent twist on cacio e pepe and my wife had the lasagna. Both were excellent but the lasagna was by far one of the best dishes we’ve ever had. The house red was incredible. So much so, we took a bottle of it home with us. We were stuffed but wanted to try a dessert and it didn’t disappoint. The cheesecake with the strawberry topping was immaculate! The service was also top notch with Nonna receiving a hug from the table next to us because you can tell how passionate she is about serving her guests. We cant wait to come back here for our next trip!

It’s a beautiful authentic restaurant off the beaten path. The food and the service were delightful. It’s the best experience we have had during our two week trip to Italy. I highly recommend a visit here!

The loveliest staff & owner. Situated in a little tucked away street away from the hustle and bustle of Trastevere. Lit with fairy lights & decorated so lovely. The food was phenomenal, if I lived in Rome I would be there every night. The best food ever & I’m so glad I found it. Such a hidden gem.
