10/10Amazing ambience, we sat inside and the decor and music were perfect. Although my 6 year old might have lowered the level slightly when playing the restaurant's piano :) Il Ciak is a meat eater's dream. Plenty of different steaks available and the intermittent wallop of the butcher's cleaver only added to the atmosphere. We ordered Caciofi alla giudia, patate fitte, coda alla vaccinara, lamb chops, mixed salad and finished with the tortino al coccaliato. Apart from the salad (which is probably to be expected in a meat diner's paradise) everything was excellent. My favourite was the Ox tail - coda alla vaccinara. The tender, succulent meat easily fell away from the bone, and practically melted in my mouth and was cooked in a delicious tomato based broth - sublime! Finished the meal with my first, but not last, amari. Last, but not least, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

3.5/10Party of eight - food wasn’t great, three people had the ‘roast lamb with potato’s’; the lamb were cuts of knuckle with barely any meat at all and lots of fat. The accompanying grilled vegetables were cold. Overall those main courses were barely edible.

10/10We had a fantastic meal - we shared a Rubia Gallega steak, some wonderful vegetables, and enjoyed the ambiance outside. Attentive service, amazing food. And thanks to the Fork app, we enjoyed a discount.

10/10Excellent food quality and a very nice and warm place, keeping the atmosphere of Trastevere alive, even in an era when heavy tourism has alternated the physiognomy of many spots in the eternal city. Highly recommended.

10/10Cute vibe, amazing food (we got the steak and carbonara), and the friendliest staff. Its also in the heart of Trastevere so it was fun walking around he restaurant too. Come here if you get the chance!

7.5/10The meat was good with big portions. The side dishes were bit expensive for the quantity and quality. The person who hosted us was very kind, but the service in general needs to be improved. The atmosphere was nice.

9.5/10This is such a cute restaurant. Everything they recommended was delicious, especially the steak and the wine. A nice change from all the pasta I’d been eating. Will go back each time I’m in Rome!

9/10Loved this restaurant, great food, great location, great vibe. They had a folk singer at one point who was really funny and I definitely recommend the steak and the eggplant appetizer.
