We had an excellent meal. We had the Florentine steak, tripe, pasta with truffle, pasta with mushrooms and porcini as starter. Everyone was satisfied with their meal. Our food was served quite quickly for a group of six people.

Our first night in Florence was spectacular largely to the most excellent meal here. The beef and rocket salad, caprese salad and biscotti with vin santo were all excellent. The staff was very friendly and the service was impeccable. What a great experience.

A bizarre experience. We carefully chose this restaurant based on excellent reviews. 55 minute wait for our cold meat antipasti to arrive. Another 45 mins on we left with no sign our our pasta course at 1015pm and an explanation that there were alot of people.

Ci dispiace molto ma avevamo il primo cuoco improvvisamente impossibilitato a venire a lavorare per problemi personali e non siamo riusciti a trovare un sostituto in breve tempo. in piu mio fratello ha sbagliato a portare i vostri ravioli al burro e salvia ad un altro tavolo...Cmq i tempi che lei ha scritto non sono per niente veritieri . L'antipasto toscano l'ho fatto io personalmente e dal momento che è stato ordinato al momento che è stato portato in tavola saranno passaati forse 15/20 minuti e non 55 minuti. comunque ormai è andata ci spiace molto questa recensione negativa solo per i tempi e non si parla della qualità dei prodotti siamo persone che lavorano e cerchiamo di farlo al nostro meglio purtroppo una serata con difficoltà ci sta ma una recensione così negativa ci crea un danno economico non da poco per i prossimi mesi e non lo trovo giusto.

We’ve traveled all over Tuscany the past ten days, and this was our favorite restaurant experience. Great food and wine, charming staff, excellent service. This is not a white table-cloth or gimmicky restaurant, but a simple place that serves wonderful, authentic Italian food. Cannot recommend enough.

The food was excellent..the best we had in Florence, and we really liked the more ‚local‘ atmosphere of somewhere that felt real and authentic. The staff were without exception friendly and welcoming in a natural and not over-done way. Wine choices were wide and well-priced and our only regret is not staying longer so we could make a return visit. Can recommend wholeheartedly !

If you want to explore authentic local cuisine, try the tripe. I promise, you will not be disappointed. We had several dishes here and they were phenomenal.

Grazie molto per la sua recensione ...in effetti c'è stato una dimenticanza per quanto riguarda lo sconto che aveva con the fork se ci dice come possiamo farle avere la differenza ci adoperiamo per risolvere la questione. Oppure se torna da noi la risolviamo direttamente qui. GRAZIE MILLE DI NUOVO E TANTE TANTE SCUSE.
