The food and atmosphere is incredible; I hesitate to write a review because this place feels like a hidden gem that you’d only bring your favourite people to. The food is delicious and the servers were so kind and gentle in their patience with us . The restaurant itself is cozy and quiet (we ate on the patio) and every dish we had was delicious. Definitely would be a great spot to take an intimate date or a group of friends to catch up. Thanks a million Bali Bar, we will be back!

The food is a poor man's version of Thai food. The only saving grace was the spicy sauce that they served. Very disappointing! The outdoor sitting is nice. The indoors can be quite suffocating.

Service was very poor. There were barely No people in the restaurant but it took very long. Also a lot of food is deep fried so if you are looking for healthy asian food, this is not the right Place to go to.

Thank you for your visit. We're are sorry if you had to wait too long for the food you orderd especially for your plate which has been changed as per your request. We had all the tables outside reserved. As for the choice of the food, we have for starters both fried appetizers and appetizers that are not fried, as you can see from the menu. It is an Indonesian and Thai cuisine with their original recepies and some of them involve frying. By the way, you can find fried food only among the appetizers. On Tuesday and Wednesday we also have Vegan fixed menù, which are very appreciated among the clients.

Bali Bar is a small restaurant and has open seating in one of the smaller lanes at the side. Great service thanks to Piergiorgio and Riccardo at the bar. Easy dining and the prices are reasonable. I was dying to eat their pork meatballs, but they didn't have that - it's a limited menu, which kinda works so you know the food's fresh and less chance of indecisions :) We did try their fried meat wontons and Thai spring rolls with vermicelli (Po Pia Tod) as starters and it was exquisite. For the main course we opted for the Kaeng 'Khiao Wan Gai Thailandese', which was phenomenal. Would definitely go back there again. Recommend highly!

The food was ok. Not enough vegetarian/vegetable options on the menu. I hate that restaurants refuse to serve you tap water in Rome and force you to buy bottled water. Horrible for sustainability. Plus their bottled water, Emiga, tastes awful. I complained to the waitress, she did nothing.

The 2nd time we had visited this charming place, last time was pre lock down and we were so happy to go back when we returned to Rome. When you live it in Italy it really makes a great change to eat something NOT Italian and the Indonesian food in the Bali bar is excellent. The staff are really welcoming and charming and the prices reasonable, the chicken sate was so delicious and the set menu had a really interesting selection. Highly recommended, we will be back when we're next in Rome.

A review from Indonesian herself : the menu of Nasi Campur was simply delicous and it somehow gave me a nostalgic feeling for being at home from the taste of the yellow rice. The ambience of the room for dining was so calm and the service was great! Congrats! Definitely will come back again everytime i visit Rome!

Staff super friendly. Clearly care about their costumes. Room was uncomfortably hot. Playing jazz music that doesn't fit with the theme. Food was just ok.
