6 of us were visiting Rome for 60th birthday and booked the restaurant based on reviews and location. We all had a fabulous time the Food and service was excellent and the venue very nice. I ate the sesame Tuna to star and the lamb rack for main both of which were great. The waiting team also helped select some fantastic wines to pair with our meal. It was also very nice that at the end of the meal one of the waiters suggested that we visit the roof of the venue to view the Rome skyline at night and escorted us there. We had a fabulous time and would definately book again if we return to Rome.

We were 4 Australian friends celebrating a 70th birthday and had a truly amazing and memorable experience in this hotel restaurant located in a former convent in Trastevere, Rome. There is a beautiful courtyard garden, but as we dined there in mid September the evening was a bit too chilly to eat outside. We chose the signature menu with paired wines and the food, wines and service were exceptional. The wonderful staff treated us like royalty, even escorting us to the lift when we left, (although that may have been more because we had the giggles). A truly unforgettable experience. One thing I should say is that this pearl of a restaurant did not come up on google searches for best restaurants in Rome and it was only through a reference on TripAdvisor where it consistently scored 5* that I was finally able to track it down. You only seem to be able to book it on The Fork app. There is no phone number for the restaurant on the hotel website. So it is truly a well kept secret.

The restaurant received a high Trip Advisor rating however it seemed unwarranted. The food and service are all fine for the type of restaurant. What was disappointing is the location, it is the building basement of a hotel and has a rather stark ambiance one could easily forget that they are in Rome. Upstairs in the same building there are other spaces which would have been very nice to sit in to enjoy a meal. Seems like the restaurant has been placed in the wrong location in the building.

Service was impeccable, Daniel and our other server were gratuitous gentlemen that assisted our English only speaking family with ease. The chef sent out complimentary appetizers of artichoke and pecorino that was a unique and delicious take on the Roman classic. First thing, you walk into the hall toward the restaurant and the opulence washes over you in white marble. We wandered the hallways and into the courtyard, the setting was immaculate. Our meal was set at our pace, our daughter ate her main course first, my wife and I ate multiple courses and we all shared dessert. Every plate better than the last. Wine recommendation paired perfectly, thanks to front house service suggestion and guidance. Perfect meal and a memorable setting, this was our favorite meal on our 6 day Rome vacation, we had dinner in Trastevere every night.

On January 10th at 7:00 PM, I had a reservation at this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and it was an absolutely enchanting experience. The service was impeccable, with Gabriel and Francesco as our dedicated waitstaff. They not only provided top-notch service but also took us on a guided tour of the monastery, including a visit to the rooftop where we enjoyed a breathtaking night view of Rome. The best wishes were extended, complemented by the most delightful culinary creations and compliments from the chef. Every dish was a masterpiece, leaving us in culinary bliss. The ambiance was heightened by a delightful surprise – a birthday dessert with a candle, making the celebration truly memorable. I cannot express enough gratitude for the exceptional experience. It was not only a gastronomic delight but also a journey into the rich history and charm of the monastery. My guests were equally impressed, and we all left with hearts full of joy and appreciation. This restaurant has undoubtedly left an indelible mark, and I look forward to returning for more extraordinary moments. Massive thanks to the entire team for making my birthday celebration truly magical!
