Creative and flavorful dishes. First courses with seafood-seafood risotto and tagliatelle with citrus fruits, scampi, and mints. (Seems like in Italy shellfish hace little fish.) Second course shared sea bass cartridge, small portion of fish bits. The first course won us over to consider a second visit. Service slow and less welcoming.

I found this restaurant 4 years ago and every year we’re in Florence we make a point of eating there! The fish is excellent along with the pizza’s! Wine selection is amazing. It’s family owned and now they’ve open a restaurant serving more meat type meals right across the street! The area of San Niccolo is a great area and if you’re looking for great meal of fish, steak, pasta or even pizza, this is the place to go!!

WARNING - I booked this restaurant with a 50% off promotion during the Fork Festival. When my bill came, the owner insisted that he did not know about this promotion. When I disputed the sum and showed him my booking on Fork, he became very rude. He eventually accepted that the promotion was in place but only gave me a 50% discount on 2 dishes out of everything else I ordered (the Fork later confirmed to me that this should not have been the case). Make sure you check your receipts, especially if you look like a non-English speaking tourist. To note, the waiters there are attentive and friendly. I had a lovely time except when the owner tried to gaslight me when I was trying to pay the bill.

There were 2 or 3 tables with customers when we arrived. All the staff seemed very busy but we waited for over 30min with no food served, only were told “coming soon” several times. Nobody was able to tell me when the food would be ready and why there had been such a long time waiting. Anyway, strongly suggest avoid this restaurant if you want to eat within a reasonable time.

Baked sea bream with potatoes is delicious, fresh and tagliatelle with shrimp are fabulous! And discounts are available while you have reservation

Very nice people but service was very very slow. Presentation of dish was poor. Got my pasta dish incorrect. Nice people though. They need to “polish” more and quicker service.

Great food with some of the freshest, best-tasting seafood I’ve had. The service was attentive and welcoming, and the prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth going!

Service indifferent but food good. 50 per cent discount not applied originally and then applied ' selectively' to certain menu items but not most of the others, bit of a swizz really compared to the far better more gracious Trattoria Bobuli the previous night.
