We found this restaurant 3 years ago on our yearly visit to Florence and been going back ever since. The fish is excellent and also the pizza!!! I had the tuna steak last night with crusted sesame’s, OMG! Wife had the pizza and it was also great! This place is a hidden gem out of the mainstream part of town but VERY popular! Check it out if you’re looking for more than pasta for dinner!!

First of all, I am Asian. It took a long time for the appetizer to be served, and after finishing it, we had to wait over 30 minutes for the next course. The Western guests at other tables were served their food first, even though we had been waiting longer. I asked for the bill, but even after waiting for a long time, it was never brought to me. I eventually had to go myself because I couldn’t wait any longer. I can’t help but wonder if it was because I’m Asian. Based on this experience, I strongly do not recommend this place to fellow Asians. 애피타이저 먹고 30분이나 지나고도 다음 메뉴 안주고 다른 테이블 사람들 메뉴부터 서빙하고 우리 테이블에 눈길도 안줌. (넓은 매장도 아님) 기다리다가 지쳐서 언제 나오냐고 물어보니까 준비 중이라고 5-10분 더 기다리고 나옴 겨우 먹고 영수증 달라니까 한참 있다가 영수증만 주고 계산하러 안옴. 그래서 내가 계산하러 직접 감 추천 안합니다.

The waitress is very warm and patient. She showed us the picture of each dish by her smart phone when we didn’t know what’s that. This really helped a lot. Also we were granted a 20% discount when we check the bill.

The service was really poor. We had finished eating and were left with our plates in front of us for quite a while. Several staff members walked by and looked at them, but no one bothered to clear the table. Even after bringing us the bill, the plates stayed there. To make things worse, the bill didn’t include the discount from our TheFork reservation. When I pointed it out, they looked confused, as if they had never heard of it. I had to show the reservation myself, and only then did they apply the discount—reluctantly. As for the food, it wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t particularly good either. Nothing that would make me want to come back. Definitely not going back. Unprofessional and inattentive service.

The mixed fish for two was amazing, very fresh and juicy. We would go back just for that. Also appreciated that the restaurant was open all day and we didn’t have to wait until the normal Italian 7:30 pm to eat.

Great good in a hidden gem GST’s away from the tourist crowds. Go after seeing Piazza di Michelangelo. Waiter rushed us a bit to order and never brought us bread but otherwise nice place. Wish they had an outdoor patio for dining on a nice day!!

5 minutes from Porta Veccio this resturant specialises in seafood.. Everything was fresh, flavoursome and very well prepared. Well worth a visit.

When we entered the restaurant and told the guy at the entrance about the reservation I made, he didn’t even check the booking and pointed at the table closest to the door. One of our girls asked if we could be seated at the table at the further inside because it was freezing cold, and he said NO! then mumbled something about reservation - I didn’t exactly catch what he said. Later some other people came and asked for seat, saying they didn’t have a reservation, he put these people through to the table we were denied. Puzzled, when other table in the back of the restaurant was cleaned up I asked if we could move to that table because our table is right next to the door and it’s very cold. He said no it’s for the people who made reservations. I reminded him that we did made a reservation. He didn’t believe me so I said we did made a reservation, you can check on the system. He still didn’t check, but then he said ok you can use the seat - we felt we weren’t treated nicely at all.
