The Florentino steak was too raw and it was better when we asked the owner to recook it. I don't think it was worth for 80€/kg, it cost us 96€ just for the steak! The sautéed spinach was tasteless and my husband & I just have a bit.

The staff are jolly and really helpful - service with a smile. The food is amazing - traditional Tuscan food which melts in your mouth and warms you up in winter cold. The ambience is cosy. Highly recommend!

The exceptional steak was only surpassed by the excellent service. We felt so welcomed and we appreciated the recommendations from our server which were all outstanding. We had the stuffed onion appetizer and the assorted crostini including Tuscan chicken liver pate followed by the maremma steak…All accompanied by a bottle of Chianti. What an amazing experience! Very small authentic place. They are very proud of their food and rightly so.

We focus all our travels around the food. Having eaten out at hundreds of some of the best restaurants cities have to offer, this one stands out beyond those. The best service / food / atmosphere we have ever had. If you come to Florence and do not come here, you’ll be disappointed. 10/10

A friend from Vienna highly recommended this restaurant. I'm so glad we visited it on our first night in Florence. Katie and Jaucomo were amazing and made us feel very comfortable. The Florentine steak and local alcoholic beverages were delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely perfecto! You have to try the maremma bistecca! Grilled to perfection and so delicious! No better steak on the planet. The service was outstanding! Make sure to go every time you are in Florence!
