10/10The restaurant has been described to us as a must try of traditional Roman cuisine, well that is it! We tried carciofi alla Giudea, fiori di zucca ripieni, carbonara e amatriciana and they were all the best we've tried. And I lived in Rome for two years! Amazing.

10/10I would highly recommend this beautiful restaurant in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. The food was superb. I can't say enough about the carciofi alla guidia and pasta dishes! The dessert was delicious as well. The service was great.

10/10Took us a minute to find it so we were late but they sat us anyway even though it was late. Wonderful bread. The best we had in 30 days. Food amazing and the service exquisite. Highly recommend.

10/10We came for lunch after flying international, we were tired but were greeted by a friendly staff and a cold beer. He had a delightful lunch with appetizers, spaghetti carbonara, fresh fish and of course excellent wines. The meal could not be complete without a serving of there fantastic tiramisu. An experience out of old Rome with rustic ambience.

10/10Just had an awesome 3.5 hour lunch feast of great Roman fare, served beautifully by Augusto, serenaded by 2 talented musicians during our entire meal. This is our must "go to" restaurant on every visit to Rome. 10 out of 10 rating.

8.5/10Delicious artichokes as antipasti, the same was true for ossobuco. Unforgettable. Pasta ala amatriciana really nice but not outstanding.

ACCOGLIENZA - Nella cornice del quartiere di Trastevere, a pochi passi dal centro storico di Roma, sorge il Ristorante Checco er Carettiere. Un ambiente accogliente, schietto e famigliare, dove tradizione e cultura si uniscono. Il personale è sempre attento e disponibile nei confronti della clientela.
ROMANO - La cucina del locale è considerata povera, ma in realtà ricca di sapori, tutti da assaporare. Le ricette utilizzate sono quelle della tradizione culinaria romana. Non mancano anche buonissimi piatti a base di pesce.
DESSERT - Per concludere in bellezza il pasto è possibile ordinare uno dei buonissimi dolci fatti in casa, come ad esempio la crostata di visciole, la crostata di ricotta e la torta allo zabaione.
