This is our go to place for the steak and actually all the food. We have been going there for over 15 years and never disappointed. We have see 3 different owners and still, the service, food and prices are good.

Service was ok but a bit abrupt/not friendly. We did see another waiter at table next to us who was friendly, chatty etc so maybe we were just unlucky. We were hard against a food counter which as unfortunate so my view was of squeezy bottles of various sweet, pour on syrups and tired looking desserts. This spoiled the experience. Another table would have seen a higher score probably. The food was the best part of the experience. Chef catered for my dietary requirements very well and my sea bass fillets were large, beautifully cooked and delicious - 9/10. My husband had the Tuscan beef stew which had large, tender chunks of beef in a hearty gravy flavoured with herbs 8/10. Food was excellent value considering the discount.

One at the table had the grilled fish of the day and the grill was acting up. By the time that was solved, the other diner’s seafood dinner was cold. Not impressed.

Have been in Florence for a week and this restaurant is by far and away the best. Food was excellent as were the staff who were very friendly and attentive.

Not recommended to anyone. Fiorentina was overcooked. Ordered wine, but he didn’t show us the label, just poured a glass behind the bar, so could have been any wine. Overall low quality food and small portions. The deals are not worth it compared to the many good restaurants in Firenze
