We received a warm welcome but when we said we made a reservation the host couldn’t find the confirmation. Apparently there were several customers who also made reservations of which the host couldn’t find confirmations either. A serious system failure/ lack of communication! Luckily we got a table but sadly there were a lot of issues that made our visit unpleasant. Wrong order take up, glass in the food! Serious issues that you don’t expect to happen in a restaurant. We did get another dish to compensate. Unfortunately not worth repeating.

La Caravane Passe is a restaurant to pass. The service was terrible ... our main courses took 2 hours to arrive! And the food quality was awful ... not fresh with canned beans, sour-tasting, likely reheated food that made one of us ill. The decor is nice but it was so hot in the space that we could hardly breathe. This is a definite NO go.

Dear Angela, We are deeply sorry to read you did not enjoy your experience at La Caravane Passe. The restaurant was indeed crowded that night, we were understaffed unwillingly and it took us a while to get all the plates ready. Although 2 hours seems a bit exagerated. Pretend that our dishes are reheated, canned beans and not fresh is unfair, we can truly assure you that our food is fresh and cooked daily. If you didn’t enjoy the food, we are sincerely sorry, we all have different taste. We never heard of any single customer experiencing sickness before. Glad you still enjoyed the decor. Great Restaurant! Family-run business with great authentic food and great atmosphere. Waiters kind and normal waiting time. Slightly expensive but worth the money as I will return there. Small water bottle (50cl) for 4€, too expensive, drinks overall rather overpriced!!

The restaurant is really nice, well decorated and quiet. The waitress was extremely nice and polite, excellent service (Far above the average). The food was very good, most dishes we ordered had a unexpected but good sweet taste.

This restaurant was a great find. The staff was very welcoming, you can feel the family style in the food and in the service. Couscous was very good and the meat very tender! With the fork discount, super good price-quality.
